In what was formerly the Load of Hay Tavern now sits the Belrose, a neighbourhood pub with its head firmly in the Mediterranean. From the colour palette of blues and creams to the rustic Italian food, you could be in a modern trattoria if it weren't for the dark wood and very pub-like bar.

The 'other' pub in the area. It has just been fully renovated and undergone a complete change of character and acquired a new name. It's now very nice and does a good line in Italian food and brews its own beer on-site. It is not as well known as its famous neighbour across the road (the Sir Richard Steele) but possibly a bit 'friendlier'.

This is one of my favourite pubs in London featuring some fantastic craft beers and food to match. They brew their own beer which is delicious and not to be missed of beer is your thing.
