Situated on a scenic bend in the Delaware River, Narrowsburg’s Main Street is chock full of hip boutiques, galleries, and eateries. Just off the main drag, The Launderette merits a stop for delectable wood-fired pizza and exceptional views of the Delaware from its balcony. This portion of the river is also renowned for its water sports opportunities. Lander’s River Trips offers a range of tubing, rafting, kayaking, and canoeing excursions. While the Tusten Theatre and Delaware Valley Arts Alliance maintain an active cultural scene year-round, the annual Riverfest brings artists, performers, and artisans to the town each July for a vibrant street festival.

Just about 10 minutes South of us is Narrowsburg. This chic hamlet has beautiful and unique shops and great restaurants. Cheese, wine, furniture, fashion - Narrowsburg has it all. The Chi Hive is a great gym + wellness space if you'd like to workout or take a yoga class.

From the moment you hit the road, the fun begins because the drive is part of the magic of a visit to Narrowsburg. Expect lots of peace signs and doves painted on the sides of barns — not far away is the original site of the 1969 Woodstock Festival at Bethel Woods. On the journey home, make sure to route your drive to Route 97 through Barryville and along the Delaware River; a portion of this drive is called The Hawk’s Nest and it’s considered one of the most scenic drives in New York State. From there, the road dumps you into Port Jervis, where you stop to shop and eat, then can catch Route 23 though New Jersey all the way home on back roads though High Point State Park.
