Classic Joliet. Blues Brothers. Don't get your hopes up, though, you can not go inside. Still an interesting free stop to walk around the outside. Rough neighborhood, if you are going to get out of the car, only go in the daytime with a friend.

Where they filmed the famous original "Blues Brother's" Movie with John Belushi and Dan Aykroyd. Much of the film was shot on location in and around Chicago between July and October 1979, including Joliet Correctional Center in nearby Joliet, Illinois
