Founded in 1768, New Smyrna Beach is one of Florida's oldest and most charming cities. Its unique history is preserved and presented in the New Smyrna Museum of History. An engaging experience for all ages, a visit to the museum is a must for visitors and residents alike.

A lot of memorabilia, history of town and a surfing section. Hosts are extremely friendly and helpful. Located in town so convenient to walk to shops and restaurants.

This is a must stop for anyone who is visiting NSB. If you're at the Canal Street Farmers Market it's just down the street. The docents are knowledgeable and friendly. We enjoyed hearing about NSB and discussing the artifacts. Check out the T-shirts which are reasonably priced and make wonderfully special souvenirs.
