Agios Nikolaos beach is a middle-sized bay, located on the southern side of to the rocky peninsula 'Paleokastro'. The beach is well organized with some parasols and sunbeds for rent, showers, changing rooms, etc. Agios Nikolaos has have fine golden sand and shallow waters, but usually waves are coming. There are some beach bars behind the beach, with spectacular sea views. Due to its location (on the western side of Karpathos), in the evenings you can enjoy beautiful sunsets
