Any REM fan will need to see the famous railroad tressle featured on the album, “Murmor”, which is located within Dudley Park just North/ East of the city center. Also, a heads up Athens Historical Society preserves the Steeple from the old church that has since been torn down, where REM played their first shows just up Broad Street close to Nuci’s Space.....”there’s the church and here is the Steeple” REM
