You can rent bikes or tubes. Park and enjoy a beautiful trail that used to be a railway. Charming old hotel and historic station area. There is a small vegetarian cafe with delicious coffee and homemade soups and wraps.

Monkton Bike is a place where you can rent tubes to float down the gunpowder. This is a pretty cool river as it sparkles gold when the sun hits it. Also, the NCR trail goes right beside it so you can hike up with tubes, and float down back to your car. On the weekend, parking gets tough so try and get there before 11am. Side note, the water is cold... very cold, so make sure you go on a hot day. You'll get used to it after you are in the water for 3 minutes or you go numb. Whichever happens first. ;-)
