This is my favourite natural sand beach in Madeira. Perhaps, one of the most popular too. The original photographs don't do justice to what the place looks like - I don't know who took those. I posted new ones: I hope it helps you get a better idea of the beach.

A hidden gem! Perfect place for a dive after walking Vereda da Ponta de São Lourenço. You will find free parking on the side of the road( dedicated space)

Mu absolute favourite place to chill with my 3 kids and get fresh fish for a local money. The sand is natural (unlike Calheta) and this place is just magical. You can walk to the Church on the top of the hill for a viewpoint (well worth it).

It is also one of the most popular. Is small. Access is a bit difficult because to get there you have to walk down the mountain. It is one of the most crowded in summer.
