This is the most attractive building in downtown Schenectady surrounded with inviting walking areas and streets loaded with small stores, cafes, restaurants, Protors Theater, etc. Schenectady City Hall is the seat of government of the city of Schenectady. Designed by McKim, Mead, and White, the building was constructed between 1931 and 1933. It's about 15 min away.
