For a trip down memory lane, the biggest burgers and milkshakes in metal cups, pop into The Austral Cafe and Bakery in Murwillumbah. Not the most modern eatery you will find, but well worth the visit. Monday to Friday 6am to 5.30pm, Saturday & Sunday 6am to 1pm.

Best cheesecake I ever ate. Old school booth seating. Country style food from pies, to roasts, to sandwiches. Yummy coffee too.
