Korakas Beach, Rodakino, South Rethymno At the end of the canyon that traverses the area of Rodakino lies the beach of Korakas at the bay of the same name. It is a nice, wide and 400m long beach, with clear waters and small grayish sand and pebbles.

The village Rodakino on the exit of the steep canyon Rodakino that runs across the mountain Kryoneritis, a few kilometers west of Plakias resort and east of Fragokastello. This traditional village is built on both sides of the gorge, which separates it into two different settlements, namely Kato and Ano Rodakino. The village overlooks the deep blue South Cretan Sea. At the exit of the torrent of the canyon, 2km south of the village, there are several beautiful and tranquil beaches. To visit them you should follow the road that leads to Korakas beach. Στην έξοδο του ποταμού που διέρχεται από το φαράγγι, 2 χλμ νοτιότερα του χωριού Ροδάκινο , σχηματίζεται μια υπέροχη παραλία. Για να την επισκεφτείτε θα πρέπει από τη γέφυρα του Ροδάκινου να πάρετε το δρόμο που οδηγεί προς τη θάλασσα. Παρά το γεγονός ότι έχει ένα μεγάλο παραλιακό μέτωπο, το Ροδάκινο δεν έχει αναπτυχθεί ιδιαίτερα, διατηρώντας την παραδοσιακή του μορφή και γαλήνη. Η πρώτη παραλία που θα συναντήσετε είναι ο Κόρακας. Είναι μια μεγάλη όμορφη παραλία με ψιλό γκριζωπό βοτσαλάκι και υπέροχα πεντακάθαρα νερά, αρκετά οργανωμένη με ομπρέλες, ταβερνούλες και μερικά δωμάτια. Στα ανατολικά υπάρχουν σπηλαιώδεις βράχοι, που παλαιότερα, λένε οι ντόπιοι, θύμιζαν ράμφος κόρακα.
