Belur Math is the headquarters of the Shri Ramashrishna Mission order. This was established by Swami Vivekananda. It is by the river Ganges. This place is very close to Hideen Jem. It is 5 to 7 mts. ride on auto-rickshaw and a ferry across the river.

Belur Mutt is the headquarters of the Ramakrishna Math and Mission, founded by Swami Vivekananda, the chief disciple of Ramakrishna Paramahamsa. It is situated on the west bank of Hooghly River, Belur, West Bengal, India. It is one of the noteworthy establishments in Kolkata.
