Barton Springs Pool, Town Lake, and the Lady Bird Hike and Bike trail are joined at the center by the best park to stroll, throw a blanket on the grass, play beach volleyball, or just sit on a bench and people watch.

Adjacent to the trail and Town Lake is the famous Zilker Park, home to multiple festivals year round such as Austin City Limits, Blues on the Green, and the annual Kite Festival. On the average day it is a wonderful open area for all sorts of activities or just relaxing!
