Just past Estacada about 15 miles, this lovely reservoir is open during the summer season for bank or dock fishing, boating, swimming, kayaking, paddle boarding, and hiking. There is a wonderful supply store with simply foods and snacks. The local operators rent out a variety of water sport equipment, including pontoon boats and all around family boats. The boat launch and related parking areas have been recently improved. Live music and special events occur throughout the summer months.

25 minutes away, a wonderful, wide portion of the Clackamas river creates a scenic picnic & camping spot. Plenty of safe swimming holes that keep kids out of the current, truly a must-see for anybody who likes the outdoors.
