Every Sunday locals head to Sunken Park to rollerblade and rollerskate. It’s essentially an open air car park, with people renting and selling skates at the sides. Parents come with their children, and groups of teenagers and adults can be seen hanging out, skating with their friends, falling over and doing stunts. Most people go to church on Sundays, so if you want to see this place at its most vibrant, come starting around midday. There’s a small wall around the edge of the car park, so you can sit and watch or take some photos.
