La Rocca is a parck where you can have relax, maybe staying under a tree with a book, or just watching the panorama. Very interesting the Rocca museum, a museum of history that's inside the parck.

From the funicular of the Upper Town, go up the hill of Sant’Eufemia to reach the complex of Rocca, one of the favourite places of Bergamo citizens. The short walk is well rewarded by the exceptional panoramic 360° view that you enjoy from the tower: all in a glance, in addition to the wonders of the Upper Town, the Orobie Alps and the entire plain, until you see the skyline of Milan. The Rocca, a fortress dating back to the 14th century, still traces the military function of the centuries: follow the patrol walkway, discover the rescue door and enter the bombardiers’ house, now home to the 19th Century Museum. The itinerary tells about the town’s transformations between the ancient regime and the Italian unification. You will learn about Bergamo in a full Risorgimento through the stories of the 180 Bergamasque citizens of the expedition of the Thousand who joined Garibaldi in his heroic endeavour.

Alla Rocca, la cui base risale all'epoca romana, è presente il museo storico dell'ottocento..inoltre potete trovare numerosi cannoni, ed altri armamenti utilizzati durante la grande guerra..il tutto in una location unica e con una vista panoramica davvero spettacolare.
