If you’re stuck with meat eaters that refuse to go to an all-veg place, then you can find vegan mofongo and vegan piña coladas at Barrachina. It’s not the best vegan mofongo you’ll find in the city but the restaurant is the birthplace of the piña colada so it’s a good compromise for mixed groups.

While considered a little touristy, it's really nice with a broad menu. Besides, it's the only place where I can get black bean soup. People say their Piña Coladas are to die for.

Have the Piña Colada here. They say it was invented here. This is arguable BUT they, with no doubt ,make the best piña colada in OSJ and it's great for lunch (local fare) in the open courtyard.
