Dubrovnik Walls are 1940 meters long and have 6 fortresses in total: Lovrjenac, Revelin, Minčeta, Bokar, St John, and St Lucas (Lovrjenac is the only one fortress located outside the Old Town). It is a unique experience to walk down the Walls and a must-do experience while in Dubrovnik (Source: Wikipedia).

Dubrovnik's old city is compact enough that you are able to walk the entire length of the walls. The city permits people to circuit the historic city walls on foot, allowing you to feel a part of history. The views are breathtaking.

You must see this! The main attraction of Old Town Dubrovnik are the ancient City walls with its intricate and complex system of forts, bastions, case-mates, towers, and detached forts.

This is a must do on your trip to Dubrovnik. The best time is early in the morning or later in the evening while it’s still light but cool. The views are stunning and the aspect the walk gives you of the Old Town is priceless. There is a cafe/bar along the way for drinks and snacks, but we recommend you take a bottle of water. Depending on your fitness level, you can walk the entire route or come off the wall earlier.
