Every Friday there is a huge local market in Ventimiglia. Go in the morning and spend the whole day. Direct train from Nice. Pruses, handbags, clothes, toys, local products. 2 min walk from station.

Ventimiglia is a popular summer destination for tourists on the French Riviera. Particularly all year is the weekly street market on Friday, along the seafront of the new town.
