Another National Trust site on the wild Tin Coast, the famed Crowns engine houses at Bottallack cling to the foot of the cliffs. Part of the Cornish Mining World Heritage Site and Poldark filming location. On your day out travel to Bottallack from St Ives via Zennor and visit the The Church of Saint Senara, in Zennor Churchtown with the legend of the mermaid. Then head towards St Just and if time allows after Bottallack visit either Gwynver, Sennen or the Minnack Theatre above Porthcurno all of these are probably worth a day out on their own (see additional information)

The museum is worth visiting if you want to learn more about the tin coast. But the area itself is well worth visiting just for the views of the engine houses!
