Technically Tuscany, but just 45 mins from the Estate. Absolutely worth a half day spent strolling the streets, eating well, and shopping locally.

A Medici fortress, handmade caramics and museums stuffed with Etruscan treasures and Renaissance paintings. You can visit the Museo dell'Accademia Etrusca , probably the best museum in southern Tuscany ,and then the Museo Diocesano, the Fortezza Medicea Girifalco.

Cortona is a perfect place to visit, is fantastic, full oh art, culture and good food and wine!

Lots of Bars , Cafes and restaurants - plenty to choose from. very welcoming and friendly.
