A very nice book shop / coffee shop / exhibition. The perfect place if you need to do some work with nice music and a cat, 10min walk from the flat.

Nice Library just 50 metres away from the flat. It was just open one year ago, and also offers coworking space. Nice coffee otherwise, and home made cakes.

Time Out says A great book shop-cum-café bang in the middle of the 18th arrondissement’s Goutte d’Or area. With a special focus on illustrated books – from comic books to graphic novels and children’s literature – La Regulière on the 18th arrondissement’s lively rue Myrha houses a plethora of treasures, mostly published independently. Their comprehensive, colourful selection includes French cartoonist Riad Sattouf, visual artist Catherine Meurisse and Liv Strömquists’s excellent comic – ‘L’Origine du monde’. Plus, prices are wallet-friendly, with cartoons from €3 and kids books from €4. Regulière also doubles up as a pretty cafe where you can munch biscuits, attend workshops, and admire the latest exhibitions – and the furniture’s even built by the owners themselves. All in all, a welcoming, user-friendly place open to anyone and everyone.
