Restoran
“An unexpected gem located in an older strip shopping center with American cuisine and a fun drink menu. ”

Park
“Beautiful park tucked into the city. Benches, tables, grills available to have picnics or a quiet time to reflect. Plenty of paved paths to explore, via foot or bicycle. Bring your book or easel and just simply enjoy. Waterfowl are abundant - geese, swans, all types of ducks; huge fish (carp I think), turtles. Pavilions, museums, band shell, swing and slide play sets, clean rest rooms. Snack room open for ice cream to duck food.”

Restoran
“If you like real authentic German food, this is one place you don't want to miss. Waitresses are dressed in Bavarian garb and the food is really delicious! I didn't think German food was that good until I went here!!!! Make sure you read the back of the menu about the history. It has one of the best write ups on Hagerstown!!”

Museum
“Yes, Highly reommended. This jewel of City Park sits in a lovely green space at the centr of Hagerstown. A rich collection of historic and contemporary art from various periods--USA, Europe and global. Current exhibitions: "The Blues and the Abstract Truth/Voices of African American Art"--Romare Bearden, Jacob Lawrence, Elizabeth Catlett, Sam Gilliam etc. I took a visitor to this exhibition on July 16 and throoughly enjoyed it. Architecturally, the MFA building is sumptuous with a domed entrance and a pavillion that houses "Diana the hunter," and overlooks the lake that partially surrounds the museum. Admission is FREE. Closed on Mondays. Open Tu-Fri, 10-5; Sat,10-4; Sun, 1-5 PM”
