They have several chains throughout Kuala Lumpur and even get a few times prizes as one of the top recommendations for visitors. “Halal Restaurant The Coliseum Café and Hotel is shabby, run-down, grubby and with indifferent service. But it is a KL institution which has been around since 1921. For visitors who feel nostalgia for old Malaya or want to imagine what life must have been like for an off-duty planter, the Coliseum is a must-visit. The food served is a mix of standard Western fare (with British touches like sliced white bread and butter) and staple Asian dishes. In old days, It used to be a favorite hangout of the British colonials who wanted to get real Western food, but today it is the place locals come to for enormous sizzling steaks. Opening Hours: 10:00 – 22:00 Monday – Friday 09:00 – 22:00 Saturday & Sunday Address: 98, Jalan Tuanku Abdul Rahman 50100 Kuala Lumpur”
