One of the best overlooks around :) hike from the bottom or park mid-way and do a short trail to the overlook!

Still uphill half of the way, but there is a shorter and longer trail for those wanted something less strenuous. Great views at the top. A good hike for the little ones. Also there is Sugarloaf vineyards right next door for great local wine after your hike.

30-minute drive. The views are spectacular and feature a popular outdoor rock climbing spot. Check out our local indoor rock gym, the Boulder Yard (10-minute drive) to get into that!

Sugarloaf Mountain is a local's favorite hiking spot, as well as DC folks looking for a day out. There are plenty of trails to hike. The view from the top is a beautiful panorama of the valley below. Stop by Sugarloaf Winery on your way out!
