Nice little Riverfront beach for the kids to play with a sandy beach

Jamestown Beach is great if you're traveling with kids in tow! It's off of the shallow and quiet James River. The beach is near Eco Discovery Park that offers and environmental learning center, marina, store, and kayak rentals! Parking is available near the first beach (there are three beaches at Jamestown).

This beach is beautiful and a perfect place to relax for young and old alike. Relatively shallow for a good ways out with a sandy bottom on the James River. (Check concession hours if your planning to eat there)
