Great park with views of Mississippi river, Skyline and trails to Nicollet island, check out some of the oldest historic houses in Minneapolis and great views of the city. Lots of trails and picnic areas to explore.

Boom Island Park is my favorite park in Northeast! Rent a bike or grab kayak or canoe from the Paddle Share Station during the summer! Right along the Mississippi River, this park is great for BBQs & picnics. Kids can enjoy the playground and grass area. I have to say, this park has one of the best downtown Minneapolis skyline views!
