Nice walking trails, informative plaquards and when timed right you can catch sunset on the sound and make it back to your car easily

Great hiking trails and Sound views. The Spiral Staircase is located just on the edge of this preserve. Just head West on Ocean Acres Drive and you can't miss it.

Nags Head Woods Preserve protects one of the largest remaining maritime forests on the East Coast. Defined as a woodland habitat affected by the ocean, maritime forests such as Nags Head Woods have become increasingly rare due to the pressures of human development throughout coastal environments.

Deciduous forest at the Beach. Great place to have a hike, walk the dog, or jog.
