Most of the places you may want to visit in Milan are less than 30 minutes distant with public services. Once you hop on a metro you can reach even the most remote spots of the city within an hour. Still, you never know. Wether it's your last day and you have luggages to carry or you're on a rush to your first day at work, don't worry at all. The closest Taxi station is exactly 60 second away from my door.
