Locals/Marine bar pool tables "jukebox" Usually nice people, retired locals & marines, & tourists during the day. Nights are a mix of young marines & locals. It's come a long way from when I first stumbled in there in 2011 and asked for a vodka martini. The olive came out of a can and had a pit in it!

If you want to go out for drinks but don't want to travel too far, the Virginian is the place to be. It is conveniently located on the twentynine Palms highway. It is a local's favorite

A total dive bar! Locals and tourists welcome. Cheapest drinks in the area along with great owners, an easy going crowd and very friendly staff. There is juke box and a couple pool tables. Stay for a drink and see what happens next! Biking distance!
