A well known spot for its frescos in the Basilica - of great importance ( birthplace of St Francis ). The Nu SPA is also there in the heart of roman remains. Naturally there are wonderful views across the valley from Rocca at the very top!

We are just a few km from the neighbouring Region of Umbria. The worship town of Assisi, where Saint Francis lived and died, is only 45 minutes drive away. Its monumental Cathedral is a must, but also the many nice restaurants where you can indulge your palate.

You simply cannot come to Umbria and miss Assisi. It is still full of monks, ruins and pilgrims with an atmosphere all of its own....
