This spot is kid and dog friendly. There is plenty of seating and you can sip brews while playing cards or a board game. Feel free to order food in from one of the local restaurants. They usually have some menus floating around.

Brand spanking new brewery, straight down Sawyer toward Milwaukee. Cool serene vibe, yummy brews and a great place to pop in before or after a movie or having dinner anywhere along the block!!

I read a very interesting interview with the woman who owns this airy, family-centered brew pub. She said when she got in the business she noticed now male-focused the culture and design was around brew pubs so she decided to create a brew pub where she'd feel comfortable. On any given day you can see through the big windows, people sitting at long tables, having bridal showers and birthday parties, nursing babies, dogs, game nights. Yesterday when I was walking by I saw a group of women making stacks of peanut butter sandwiches to hand out to the people who hang out on our streets. It's really wonderful. And the beer is good, too.
