The Wardrobe Theatre, the Tobacco Factory, Bristol Old Vic and the Hippodrome have some fantastic plays. The Bristol improv Theatre can also be good fun (& is right next to the Clifton Lido which is a great swimming/cocktail location!)

Amazing little theatre company - usually very affordable. Lovely pizza and bar area for food after. Book in advance. 20 minutes walk from house.

A small theatre company at the back of The Old Market Assembly which is a bar, restaurant and live music venue. The theatre company put on hilarious, wild and imaginative shows for a variety of ages and tastes. From September twice a month they do a fantastic improvised soap opera for only £6 a ticket!

Local Independent theatre with great drinks and great shows. Their stand up comedy is cheap and worth going to. A hidden gem.
