To eat " Cozido das Furnas" , typical food that is prepared underground in Furnas Lake. You can go to the lake around 11.30 AM to see the guys taking of the food from the ground.

Enjoy the famous Cozido of Furnas. It is better to make a reservation during the summer season

Good stew made on the "hole". This food is made underground. They do a hole in Furnas, put the lunch there, and 4-5 hours after, you'll get your food ready to eat :) Amazing don't you think?
