Chocolate lovers can sample local, organic, tree-to-bar chocolate whilst taking a tour of the small chocolate factory. This is a great stop on an island tour.

The Grenada Chocolate Company was founded in 1999 as a co-operative company. They create superior quality dark chocolate from local, organic ingredients at their solar powered facility nestled in lush rain forest. A true bean to bar chocolate maker. Using fine flavour Trinitario cocoa, un-refined sugar and natural vanilla The chocolate that is produced by The Grenada Chocolate Company is of very high quality indeed with deep, rich flavors with notes of fruits evident from the quality of cocoa, ingredients and traditional methods of production used and employed. Whilst the wrapping may not be particularly high end the flavor, texture and enjoyment of real, traditional chocolate certainly is.
