MTA subway station for the 2 (red line) and 5 (green line) train. Both run along the same line in Brooklyn and both go to Manhattan. The 5 is express in Brooklyn and once in Manhattan runs along the east side of the island. The 2 is local in Brooklyn and goes express once in Manhattan and runs along the west side of the island.

Train (subway) station of the MTA. You can get to Manhattan in a few minutes by hopping on the 5, or the 2 train.

The 2 train is local and I mean LOCAL. Great if it's the closest line to your destination and you are not in a rush.
