The grown-up sister restaurant of Mother. The restaurant is located underground, in what was formerly two smaller theaters at the historic Crest Theater downtown. It's elegant and cozy and the food and drinks are amazing.

Mother's naughty sister. Where Mother is hip, fresh and vegetarian--Empress is underground (literally), moody and all about meat. It's also exceptional and is poised to be a Sacramento institution.
