Point of Interest
“If you are in Edinburgh this is the number one tourist attraction. If you are into history, warfare, cannons, military memorabelia, and amazing views of the city and beyond to East Lothian and Fife, you should definitely check it out. Best way to see the castle is to buy the Edinburgh Bus Tours Royal Ticket. This gives you access to the castle, Holyrood Palace and The Royal Yacht Britannia as well as the use of the hop on hop off buses for 48 hours, which will take you round all the main tourist attractions and give you a guided history. You save quite a bit of money doing this, so highly recommend buying it. It also gives two for one access to Royal Botanic Garden glasshouses.”

“This atmospheric cellar bar, with its polished parquet floors, bare stone walls, candlelit tables and stylish steel-framed chairs, is owned and operated by jazz musicians. There's live music every night from 9pm to 3am, and on Saturday from 3pm. As well as jazz, expect bands playing blues, funk, soul and fusion.”
