One of my favorite restaurants in the Algarve! A place where they serve a typical dish from guia called chicken piri piri or in Portuguese “frango à guia”! Definitely worth a visit!

"Frango da Guia" (or "Chicken Piri piri" as it's best known abroad) served with scrumptious home-cut fried and a delicious tomato salad. There are 3-4 floors, but during high season booking required!

Our favourite churrasqueira and the “home of chicken piri-piri”. A four storey bustling restaurant that is inexpensive and usually very busy with tourists and locals alike. This can also be delivered by Uber eats!

One of the original piri piri chicken places, a local legend and delicious chicken. Big place with a lively atmosphere.

If you like chicken you must try the "Frango da Guia" (Checken of Guia), the best grilled chicken in Portugal. Quite different of Nando's (for UK or South African), but I like both and to be honest I think I prefer Frango da Guia to Nando's. The price is quite popular but also the service and the restaurant are simple, it is worth by the food. We recommend both Ramires and Paladium.
