Looking for something a little fancier? Our go to nicer restaurant is Jack & Charlies. Fun drinks and the menu is always changing. The venue is really fun too. Look for the vintage red telephone booth and then walk down the stairs to the basement. IG: @jackandcharlies

Look for the British phone booth in front of the old Tulare County Jail. Jack & Charlie's is in the basement, under the stairs. The upscale California cuisine was beautiful, well-presented and delicious. Enjoyed the braised lamb with couscous and vegetables. Generous portions, great wine list, and very reasonable.

For the confirmed foodie. Very original creations, amazing wine & craft cocktails, and terrific professional service. The ambiance is very cool too, since it's underground in what used to the city's jail. Pricey, but worth it. Not for children.
