A trendy version of an old-school Jewish deli, Sadelle’s serves bagels, lox, and chopped salads that are like works of art, plus the world’s best chocolate chip loaf—so dense and chocolatey. Make a reservation for brunch or be willing to wait a few minutes. They serve two babka varieties: chocolate and raisin walnut. Their chocolate babka is the best I’ve ever had—it’s basically a marbled loaf, with chocolate running through it in rich ribbons. It’s less flakey, more buttery and doughy.

Amazing bagel and brunch restaurant. On the expensive side but very good. May need a reservation.

Smoked fish, housemade bagels & other appetizing fare offered in a buzzy, vintage-style spot. Great Bagels, smoked salmon, cavair and brunch. Not the cheapest but definitely the best in this area. New Yorkers love their bagels and lox. If you want to just as good of an option thats also close I’d recommend Russ & Daughters bagel shop which is a Family-owned shop offering high-end smoked fish, caviar & New York-style specialty foods since 1914. Russ and Daughters actually might even be better but the issue is there is no seating really so am recommending Sadelle’s. However if just looking for a snack to go and have a true deli experience than I recommend  Russ and Daughters instead. Both are amazing.
