Dive bar extraordinaire. Beware: my daughter claims you cannot go to the Knight Cap and not get drunk. Heavy pours, cheap, lively, more hipster-ish vibe, but still a great corner dive bar. Limited food available too (Heggie's!). I'd pick Knight Cap over Mayslacks across the street (but Mayslack's has a cooler space—old pressed tin ceiling, great wooden booths—and a much more extensive menu). Knight Cap is more of a townie bar.

Not my favorite bar, but good for cheap late night snacks. Big basket of fries, tots, or onion rings for $3.
