Caprera is a lovely island to explore. Apart from amazing swimming spots and snorkelling, it offers great trekking and opportunities for outdoor activites. It's a favourite with walkers, cyclers, runners and canoeists. Plenty of pit stops to get drinks and panini. You can even dine at the kiosk restaurants. Historical importance is evident with granite lookouts, ex-army barracks, Giuseppe Garibaldi House and Memorial museums.

the whole island and the surrounding sea is a national park. you get there best renting a boat or with the many organized excursions or arriving with the car to the near city of Palau
