Probably the most historic bar in west texas...at least in alpine. It's not as "cool" as it used to be back in the day, but still a great spot to check out. They have food trucks outside, also! Most bars are in walking distance from each other so feel free to bar hop!

about 1 hour and 15 minutes from Alpine. Historic Terlingua ghost town is worth the drive. Surrounded by the stunning Chisos and Christmas mountains and funky individuals. Go have a beer on "the porch" at the Starlight Theater while you wait and have a gourmet burger or a prickly pear marg. Gateway into Big Bend National park and Big Big State park.
