A NC BBQ joint right near my place. Serves beer (and I assume wine), or you can get the food to go. Not the greatest BBQ in town but it is quite good when you need a quick meal.

Thought of as perhaps the best restaurant in Raleigh. I would not argue with that. If you haven't had Laotian food, but you like Thai and Vietnamese, you will love it I'm sure. Get reservations!!!

If you, like me, enjoy strip mall Chinese food, this is actually a pretty good one. I know it is Americanized Chinese food, but once and a while that hits the spot!

This massive soccer complex is less than 10 minutes away (only a few as the crow flies). My place is very convenient to here and soccer players and their parents are very welcome!
