Galerias Bar has an international atmosphere, as it is very popular among tourists. It plays all sorts of music, but predominantly hits, danceable rock and 80's music. People do mingle and socialize quite easily here. There is live music until 1 AM. Cheap drinks!

The bookstore was frequented by JK Rowling, author of the Harry Potter series, when she taught English in Porto and is reported to be an inspiration for her writing.
