This restaurant has become very popular in the last year. It's a small place with a very small menu but I can recommend everything. The owner, Milton, is Bangladeshi and uses his mothers biryani and curry recipes. He also serves great sea bass and salmon.

Fine lunching =) If you have time to go to lunch in a weekday and appreciate fancy food, you should really book a table at Eleven. It's really high-end with one Michelin star, but one weekdays they have a "Business Lunch" which is a three course lunch with two options for starter and main course (usually fish or meet), and dessert (usually cake or cheese). This costs only €35 per person + €4 per glass of wine of the week (red or white).

You must have a “Pastel de Nata” and this is the absolute best I've found so far. It's a traditional Portuguese custard tart, don't forget a sprinkle of cinnamon on top.

Amazing terrace for an afternoon drink. It's part of a 5 star hotel, but the terrace is open for anyone. It's new and still unknown and on the top of a hill that is not infested by tourists =)

This is a neighborhood called Bairro Alto. Just go to the pin I dropped at night, and be amazed. There's hundreds of "hole-in-the-wall-bars" and reaaally crowded. Not my favorite place, but always a good time =)

Sightseeing
I see tourists spending hours in the line for this lift. I don't think they know that they can take a 5 minute walk up the hill to get to the same place, then you have to pay €2 to take two stairs to the top. Fantastic 360 view =)

"Arco do Castelo" is the entrance to the castle. Beautiful views, and my favorite tourist attraction. The line is long during tourist season, so get here early.
