The people are lovely there and they all know each other, still they are always happy to see new faces and welcome you. Good music, genuine.

This bar is quite nice, a bit pricey but they do good cocktails and offer good, sometimes local beer.

Parks & Nature
This UNESCO world heritage is a MUST. The park is just magical... hard to put in words. The castle in the centre of the park holds an impressive collection of paintings from medieval times to rennaissance and is very famous for it's Rembrand and Rubens paintings. Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays you can see the 'Watergames' that start at Herkules statue about noon.

Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays you can see the 'Watergames' that start at Herkules statue about noon.
This is a big green area that is rather wild and not too busy. It's nice to take a walk there on hot summer days, not so much when it is rainy though, it can tend to be extremely muddy.
This is actually an area where the military used to trained decades ago.

A big baroque park near city centre. You can sit on the lawn in front of orangerie and eat bread and cheese or take a looooong walk through the gardens. On the south end of this park there is a small island calles 'Siebenbergen' 'Seven mountains' they charge you a few euros to get in, but you are rewarded with a great view, surrounded by gorgeous flowers and curious peacocks.
