Wonderful wilderness walk, park at the bridge and follow the path with the srah na long river on your right side. After 45 minutes and when the gradient increases you must cross the river if you wish to summit Maumtrsna. Maps and compass are essential.
As you approach the gate to the gorge you may see a 'private property ' sign this is not directed at genuine walkers like you. Please open and close the gate behind you as you enter and leave the gorge, and leave no trace of your visit.
