Alicante offers a varied culinary offer that changes day by day. To the traditional cuisine of the Mediterranean coast, based on quality products and ways of doing that come from afar, is joined by a new generation of chefs who have focused on haute cuisine, sometimes giving their own style to the recipes already known, and in other occasions elaborating avant-garde cuisine.

It was built by the Arabs in the ninth century, is located on the summit of Mount Benacantil, 166 meters high. It is one of the largest medieval fortresses in Spain, from which you can see the bay of Alicante, and much of the city.

En la parte alta de la ciudad, en las faldas del Castillo de Santa Bárbara, se encuentra el encantador Barrio de Santa Cruz.
Sus calles, estrechas y empinadas, están llenas de antiguas casitas blancas donde predomina el blanco y el azul, sus balcones están decorados con coloridas y originales macetas llenas de plantas y de flores colgando, que le dan vida y alegría a estas calles.
Desde los diferentes miradores del barrio se disfruta de las mejores vistas de la ciudad. También nos encontraremos con muchos bares y restaurantes donde podemos realizar una parada y disfrutar de un buen vino o de una buena tapa.
La Ermita de Santa Cruz, del siglo XVIII, acoge la imagen de un Cristo cuyo desfile en procesión durante la Semana Santa por las empinadas callejuelas del barrio resulta espectacular.

It is the first archaeological museum of the 21st century. It tackles archeology from an avant-garde point of view and supported by modern audiovisual techniques, being therefore a very innovative and visual museum.
It is very interesting from the didactic point of view and at the same time fun, rigorous and spectacular, for that reason in 2004 it received the award of Best European Museum.
In addition to the permanent exhibition, it always offers several temporary exhibitions.

These restored warehouses now serve as a space for contemporary culture as they house the Caja Negra (Black Box), a multifunctional auditorium for musical and theatrical performances; the Patrimonio Cultural warehouse, a centre for Cultural Heritage, and the Casa de la Música (House of Music).
